Takoma Park Community Band

The Takoma Park Community Band in Takoma Park, Maryland, was founded in 1974 and has approximately 30 regular members. The band is a diverse group of musicians from the entire Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Members range from high school to retirees. Currently, our repertoire includes classical, popular, show tunes, marches, jazz, and Latin music. The band performs at retirement homes, churches, hospitals, and local parks. Each year the band performs at the Takoma Park City Independence Day celebration.

Please join us in the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors’ Center on December 18 at 7:00 P.M. for this band concert.
