Why I Believe January 19, 6:00 PM

The “Why I Believe” fireside this month is to be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Washington DC Temple Visitors Center. We will feature testimonies of Jesus Christ from three women of faith who have recently joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Chissell Baker, Mary Dunaway and Lily Makannah.

The Savior’s love means inclusion for all to me. “Come unto me all that are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matt 11:28).

Services will be conducted in English and ASL in the Washington DC Temple Visitors Center main auditorium. Translation to Spanish will be available in one of the adjoining Visitors’ Center theaters.
