To celebrate and remember the deeds of Jesus Christ leading up to His Resurrection on Easter Sunday, the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors’ Center is pleased to host a Holy Week Easter Celebration. Come to the auditorium and listen to inspiring free concerts featuring beloved Easter oratorios, view edifying art by Eva Timothy and flower displays in the Visitors’ Center, and feel the peace of Jesus Christ that passeth all understanding. We are excited to welcome you here at the Visitors’ Center!

Sister Timothy’s art will be exhibited in Theater 2 at the Visitor’s Center from 10 AM to 9 PM daily, beginning the morning of March 17th through early April. Her artwork focuses on God’s plan, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, prayer, and other uplifting topics and experiences.

Additionally, Eva Timothy will speak about her testimony of the Savior and the significance of her art on March 17 at 6:00 PM in the Visitors’ Center auditorium during her “Why I Believe” Devotional. Please do not miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn more about Christ this Easter Season.

Again, those who wish to see her art before the devotional may do so in Theater 2.

Curated Gardens

The temple grounds of the Washington D.C. Temple are the perfect place for a photo shoot or just to feel peace and have some time for quiet reflection. Come and experience the peace that permeates the grounds of the holy temple.

All are welcome, regardless of faith.

We ask that all visitors please treat the temple grounds with respect.

Floral Display

Within Theater 2 of the Visitors’ Center, you can find lovely flower arrangements surrounded by art of the resurrected Christ. As your tour of the Visitors’ Center progresses, come by and see the wonderful colors and spread of tulips and roses before you see the other interactive exhibits at the Visitors’ Center. The display will be available to view from the weekend before Holy Week through Easter Sunday.

Theater 2 can be found on the main floor by going past the front desk and taking the third door to the left. There will be a sign over the door that says Theater 2.

坦普尔 – 9900 Stoneybrook Dr.
支联中心(溢出) – 10000 Stoneybrook Dr.

(If you are driving north on Stoneybrook, the first entrance on the left is the Visitors’ Center, the second is the temple, and the third is the chapel.)

The theater doors usually open about 30 minutes prior to performances, (sometimes earlier), but the line to enter for large events will begin earlier than that. We recommend arriving early enough to enjoy the Visitors’ Center exhibits.

It depends on the performance, so check individual event listings, and listen for any announcements made prior to the performance. Visitors are always encouraged to take pictures and videos before and after the performance, or outside on the temple grounds. We’d love to see your pictures!
